Default People Who talk and ask questions during movies

Does this annoy anyone else? I'm the only one out of my family and friends who has a blu ray player and occasionally we'll sit down and watch a new movie and i can't help but be annoyed at people who asked a question every 2 seconds about the movie or about whats going to happen in the movie in the middle of the movie. i wouldn't mind if it was after the movie was over or every once in a while if a plot point went over someone's head.

anyone know any of these people?

I think 50% of the population must be these types of people. I'm constantly surrounded by them!

The new annoying thing to do at theaters is to text message.. All the lights from the iphones are a BIG distraction, and they just pi$$ me off.

I agree with you...and I think some just open up their phones because they think other people might want to see how cool their new phone is too. Idiots...go to a club, or go home.

I only allow my wife to ask me questions during movies.....Unless i'm sleeping
with you you need to stfu....And she's doesn't do it every minute, only during
movies like Godfather where she may not be getting the layers of stuff
going on so i pause it and explain cause I want her to enjoy the movie to...
Anyone else though i could care less

regardless of the movie being good or bad you should tell him to put it away, that is inconsiderate douchebag behavior.

I made a girl cry for talking on her cell during Knocked Up. I told her to shut up and then yelled at the people right in front of her as well for not saying anything. I was like 8 rows away and could hear her. Then she stood up and ran out while you heard her candy spill allover the floor.

I blame weak parenting as usual for the rampant douchebaggery in theaters

No, I think you are the only person who has ever witnessed this. Can you explain what happens some more?

My mom does that. We will start a movie and within 5 minutes she is asking what is going to happen. Is it really that difficult to actually watch the movie and find out?

Next time it happens try this:

Push pause and look them deep into their eyes and answer the question

Then just before you start the movie back, you ask them "Are there anymore questions before I start the movie back"?

Do this each time someone ask a question. If this persist after 3 times, then pause the movie 1 more time. look them deep into their eyes but this time say "GET OUT, GET OUT NOW... RIGHT NOW... JUST LEAVE", "I WANNA WATCH THE MOVIE IN FREKIN PEACE" ----- what ever you do, don't smile

I have done this enough were as I only have a few people over now, most will not come over my house to watch a movie.

While I agree with post peoples perspective on this matter, it is my opinion that one reason we purchase movies on disc to watch in our home is so that we can pause the movie for bathroom breaks, snack breaks, etc.

Yes I cannot stand when my wife begins watching a movie half way through and then asks me whats going on. However, at least I can watch the movie any time I want and replay scenes to get back into the movie.

Unfortunately at the theaters there is not much that can be done except to appear rude and tell people to shut off their phones and shut their mouths. I say appear rude because the offenders behavior is originally rude.

I remember watching Misery in the cinema and couple of people sitting next to me were discussing what happens next in the book.So I asked them to be quiet as I did not want to know what happens next.

When I watched TDK someone behind kept saying "LOL THAT'S STUPID!" I think he meant it amused him or was dope... or that he's completely unable to comprehend a relatively simple movie.
