Default Got a Panasonic TH-42PZ85U coming!!

Just ordered one from TigerDirect. Dunno about this site too much but hopefully everything comes fine

I was looking at the TH-42PZ80U's, but the TH-42PZ85U currently has a great price and it has a higher contrast ratio, pc input, etc. but no 24p . I was looking around and noticed people favoring the 80U over the 85U, is that right? if so why?

ANYWAYS, i was just wondering, anything you think i should know that i might not already know. i've done my research i just wanted to let you guys know

thanks bye.

also, how much of a difference does 24p make? I'm not too educated on this subject...

Look in the HDTV discussion forum a little ways down...you'll find my thread from last night about the 24p thing and my nightmare.

Now as you'll read...all is well and I'm rocking out in my room with the thing on my dresser. YAHOO!

I got the 50' 85U Tv from Best Buy in October for 1799.99. I do like it very much. However, I think some movies that I have look better on my buddies LCD tv for some reason. Do not know why though. I went from a Samsung 50' DLP to plasma and I am very happy with the 1080P.

100 hours is not that long. I just put in Planet Earth for like 8 hours a day and in 13 days I was good to go. Thats less then two weeks. 13 days of hardship and then years of enjoyment.

I estimated according to my watching schedule:

5 hours Mon 10 (day off) + 5 Tues-Fri = 30 hours + 10 Sat + 10 Sun = 50 hours a week. 2 weeks time ill get this baby burned in!
