Default Best hip hop album of the year?

With a lot bad there was some good this year for hip hop!

Nas new album was fantastic, as was Q-Tip's and The Roots. I have yet to hear Black Milks new album same with Nicolay, but I think my favorite of the year has to go to Nas, great come back from Hip Hop Is Dead (which sucked minus the title track)

The one that didn't get released and probably never will be.

Saigon - The Greatest Story Never Told

How prophetic of him to name the album that. Out of the albums released I'd say Nas.

I had hopes that Detox and Relapse would be out before years end but it's very unlikely. I've been waiting on Detox for 7 years now. It's kind of like Duke Nukem Forever, you hear about it and it's been announced over and over but it never shows.

Saigon is back in the lab making a new album but Just Blaze will never release Greatest Story. It's supposed to be one hell of an album too.

Is Bishop Lamont due this year or next?

Raw Footage is good. Nas has a slight edge though.

Cube had some great tracks like Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It and Hood Mentality. I think those are my favorite tracks.

The only track I don't like on the Nas is Louis Farrakahn. I hate that song.

The Confessional is a mixtape and wasn't an official release.

I bet if 9th Wonder had ever released Wonder Years that would have been my favorite of the year.

I like that album a lot! He was even really good live... unlike A LOT of rappers.

I'd probably say Untitled by Nas. Luda's new cd has some good songs on it too.

Not heard Kanyes new album yet, heard it was pretty bad...because he uses a voice changer or what not.
