Well, I'd say the PQ isn't the best I've seen on BR but it looks damn good. I love the movie so this was an easy purchase for me. The extra scenes are great and there is plenty of gore. I think I'm done with the theater except for large releases.

I thought the transfer was good, not great and an average movie at best-Anyone notice that it was a bit greenish? was it shot this way?

Between this movie and the two pirate movies, Keira may well be set to unseat either Eva Green or Kate Beckensale (pick your favorite) from the thrown as the BD hottie over on the "Hottest Blu-ray gal" thread

I don't know, man. We have a few Lucy Liu flicks coming our way pretty soon!

So much has changed in 2 years. I would say that Megan Fox is in firm control when it comes to my personal tastes. Also, I will pick this movie up if I can find it at $9.99.

I'd really like to know why bullshit movies like Hancock and Salt are getting 4K releases, but this isn't. These studios really make no sense to me.

Because those are Sony and Sony seems to be the one jumping on 4K fastest? Disney hasn't had any 4K, they probably see it as a gimmick like 3D.

kevin87 got it right.

And I would argue this is just as 'bullshit' a movie as those two anyway.

I've always liked the actual north-of-the-wall 'mission' part of the Director's Cut, actually. But the flashbacks, opening fight + male bonding crap and the entire final battle and denouement are totally stupid.
