Aeon Flux (Japan) - TrueHD??

There's another thread where someone said the Japan release has TrueHD - can someone confirm? Also, that the PQ was much improved?

I believe this is Region A which means it should play on US blu-ray players, correct?

I do not own this release, but I know Aeon Flux, Sin City, T2, and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow were all getting released in Japan by Geneon with 1080p MPEG-4 AVC transfers with TrueHD 5.1 (apparently T2 has TrueHD 5.1 EX).

And yes, the movie will play on a US player with no problem.

Thanks a lot for the response! Sorry, but what is the difference between MPEG-4 transfer and the current U.S. MPEG-2 transfer?

Generally speaking the mpeg-2 codec provides the weakest results.There are exceptions like kingdom of heaven or shooter, but the majority of mpeg-2 releases doesn't compare to the average mpeg4 Avc releases.
