Just got done watching this one. Looked quite good though there is some noise in the background in a few scenes but overall it has a very filmlike look which it should. This wasn't done in an overly glossy way like Ultraviolet. It wasn't deep but it had a decent enough story to carry it as the revelations came along. It was just a rental, but if they do a re-release on a BD-50 and include a pillarboxed version of the MTV cartoon version with it, it's a keeper.

I had previously owned this movie on DVD and chose to repurchase it on BD because I enjoyed it. It looked really good on upconverted DVD, so naturally I expected it to look great in HD.

I finally got around to watching it the other day, and to my expectations, the movie looked great. I only noticed one scene that had a tad bit of posterization, but nothing that would make me think the movie was a horrible transfer or anything. If my memory serves me correctly, this movie may have been shot digitally, but I'm not sure.

Add this one to the list of great looking films on BD! Paramount has done well thus far, I look forward to Nacho Libre, MI: Box set and WTC.

I'm glad to read that this one looks great. I picked up the Blu-ray and it has yet to ship. After reading reviews I was a tad worried that the Blu-ray version would pale in comparison to the HD DVD. Perhaps I got that impression from biased reviewers during the format wars

At $8.99 shipped, I don't care much.

well technically the hd-dvd version was slightly better in picture quality wise but the blu-ray version is still awesome and my 1st Blu-ray

That being said, I definitely agree that Charlize looks great. I didn't really like the movie all that much but just to watch her run around in those tight pants was enough to hold my attention.

This is one of the BDs I regret buying because of it poor (or below average) picture quality.
