Default Stupid dentist.

So I was in the dentist office for a scaling and he numbed my upper and lower right then after he was like, "You know, since you are numb already there, lets go pull that wisdom tooth!"

Yeah, this sucks....

Unhappy Ouch!

My dentist says he won't extract wisdom teeth.

He refers all patients to an Oral Surgeon for that.

It's a major ordeal and hard to do.

Hope you feel better. I hope he gave you some good drugs to cope with the pain once the anesthetic wears off.

Damn that sucks. Last friday I got 3 wisdom teeth pulled by an oral surgeon. (dentist wouldn't do it). Was surprisingly a great experience. Had some laughing gas, then they put me on an IV which knocked me out immediately, I woke up with teeth gone, no pain and a vicodin prescription. If you need your wisdom teeth out, I highly suggest the knocked out method. It literally feels like you blinked and the whole ordeal is over. Weird feeling.

I heard a story or two how people almost had their jaw pulled off! When it comes to tooth pulling, ask the Dentist how experienced they are at it.

Crappy thing to happen before the yummy treats of Christmas.

thats crazy and ironic that you mention a bad dentist experience! just today at work, a cowoker told me how she went to the dentist the other day and had a HELL RIDE to say the least. she was going in for a root canal. long story short, she ended up getting 15 shots of novacane and and 2 shots of adrenaline to keep her from passing out. yea. you heard that correct. and now she has to go back in january to finish the job. oh i didnt even mention the best part, the doctor broke one of the needles off in her gum sticking her and they had to do a seperate surgery just to get the 1/4 inch needle out.

NO, the only prescription he wrote was for antibiotics. He said if it hurts later to take Tylenol.

The right side of my face is still numb but I'm slightly drooling and there's still light blood.

Did you just dive out the window, or did you kick the glass out first?

The thing that sucks the most is that it didn't come out at first and my head was being moved when he would shake the pliers. It wasn't until he changed pliers that it came out.
