Default Question About Home

Hey guys, my friend and I were on Home earlier today and we were sending messages back and forth trying to coordinate meeting up at the bowling alley to play some pool. Note: When I say messaging each other, I meant sending messages via pulling up the XMB screen and sending messages via friend's list and not through the little message screen on the lower left corner as most people do on Home. Anyways, we coordinated our meet, but we would never see each other even though we were exactly at the same location and at the same time. My friend thinks it has to do with the servers, but I thought there was one server across the USA and then another server for Europe, etc? By the way, my friend lives in the same state as me, Florida, therefore, we are definitely not international. So, how is it that my friend and I could not spot each other even though we were at the right place at the right time? I cannot think of any other reason why this is so?

maybe it was just a glitch with your system. I was playing pool myself today and 3 times it just restated out of no where for me. Then a nother time my screen just froze and none of my controls worked for me I just shut it down restarted and no problems since. Not to worried but I'm a lit bit curious as to why this happened in the first place.

I think the server's were acting up too. I was bowling and at least 3 times, I was bowling for someone else. Not only that, I was bowling for someone who had left in the 3rd frame and I finished both games.

You were at the same location but not the same instance of that location.
If you want to coordinate such you need to invite the other person to your instance...

There are multiple instances, consider each instance a dimension of existence, while each dimension is the same they are separated from the other dimensions.

You need to pull your friend to your instance or go his instance using the invite feature found on your virtual hand held by going to your friend list going to there name and hitting invite.

This will open portal between the two dimensions and bring your friend to your instance...

This does not work if your friend lives in another country...

Lol no Neo your a small dog in another instance...

-_-

This instance concept has been used in many things like this but this is the first time ive heard of a Nameless instance, meaning its unusual that you are not told what instance your in... Im surprised they don't just let people pick a instance..
