Default closest seating towards a screen?

hi all, i got a optoma HD65 projector in a medium sized room,seating might be a problem,so i wanna know whats the closest area i can start seating from,thanks alot,Russell.

And what aspect ratio? 16:9 presumably?

Since the projector is 720p, you will be more limited in how close you can sit before seeing limitation in resolution or SDE (screen door effect) compared to a 1080p projector.

I have the same projector using 100" screen , siting 14feet away. I still can't notice the pixel boxes at 8 feet
