Just walked into Best Buy today and I found a bunch of copies of King Kong and their not even sitting in the new release aisle, only the regular aisle...hidden away! What in the world is going on? It's even on the website for order too... http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...08&catid=24101
Why did we get King Kong 6 days early here in Canada? |

It happens all the time with catalog releases. As long as its not a new day and date release BB puts out their stock when they receive it. I remember getting Sunshine on Blu-ray at BB a week before the official release date.
Oh and its not a Canadian thing. ![]() |

Both Future Shop & Best Buy do put many titles out early, yes. However, you can rarely get beyond the register with some of these items since their system does not allow DVDs/CDs/Games to leave the store before a release date. The products will scan, but the transaction will lock up.
