Will the disk comming out on bluray for 007 have the deleted scene the director marc forester took out of the movie? does any one have any clues or rumors they heard?

There was an article I read a few weeks ago after the release confirmation. It had no mention of the deleted scene I think. We won't know until we get the full specs report.

The scene where Bond meets Mr. White again? The director said he took it out to leave the next film "open" for the next director. I doubt it'll be on the initial blu-ray release.

Nah. That's coming on the "2 disk Collector's Edition" coming out a few months later.Or maybe they'll hold off until the "Ultimate 3 Disk Edition." or maybe the version that comes with the board game, trading cards, and limited edition lithograph.

k sony distributed casino royale which was amazing quality audio..everything was great...i looked at sony's other releases and most of them are 5 stars....then i look at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and half their films are rated like 3 stars..clearly their not sending out the best transfers...PLEASE GIVE BOND SPECIAL TREATMENT...who is pissed bout this like i am...who isnt?...like to hear from u guys...

I'm not really that upset. True, I wish it were Sony releasing it (because that would mean it was guaranteed to be a good transfer), but at the same time, I think MGM could do a good job. We shall see. Either way, I'm just glad it's coming out in about a month. I really enjoyed this movie, even though it wasn't quite as good as Casino Royale.

I think we should just wait and see what the disc is like before we get angry. MGM controls the other Bond movies that have been released on Blu-ray and they look amazing, for the most part.

The new to video titles from MGM almost always have great picture quality. Its the catalog titles that people have an issue with...they get the lower ratings because up until now, they have been movie-only releases with just bonus trailers as extras.

You will stilll get amazing audio since it will be DTS-HD Master Audio. The good thing about this is that if you have an older reciever, you'll get a DTS 1.5mbs core track. Sony would provide Dolby TrueHD audio which switches to a 640kbs DD track if you don't have a TrueHD decoder.

I have no problem with MGM releasing this one. I wished that MGM had the distribution rights to Rocky Balboa...it would make it easier for them to release a definitive box set with all the films. No licensing hurdles to jump.

I now im definately buying 2 copies of this movie for myself and my cousin on the first minute this movie is released...what about u guys?? let me know...will bond hold up in 1st or 2nd top sellers for a while??

Not a first day purchase but definitely a buy. I thoroughly enjoyed the followup to CR. It helped to fill in the missing pieces about who was who.

Not a Day 1 purchase for me. I'm going to wait for the 2-Disc special edition, rather than double dip for it. I don't like barebones Blu releases.

True, I wish it were Sony releasing it (because that would mean it was guaranteed to be a good transfer), but at the same time, I think MGM could do a good job. We shall see. Either way, I'm just glad it's coming out in about a month. I really enjoyed this movie, even though it wasn't quite as good as Casino Royale.
