Default The Poughkeepsie Tapes

So what ever happened to this movie coming out? Are they saving it for this summer to maybe try and duplicate the success The Strangers made? I hope if it goes straight to video (even though it was advertised for a theatrical release a few times) that it gets a Blu-ray release too.

Your thoughts? Warner decided to cancel Amusement's theatrical release (thank God because it was terrible) and yet it still received a Blu-ray release. I hope MGM would give us one!!

I've been waiting for this one too....along with Winged Creatures, Trick r Treat, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, Carriers, etc.

The last I have heard is a rumor that it will be released sometime in April. Otherwise the only info I can find is TBA 2009. Anyone else have more concrete info?

I know there's been a DVDRip out for a couple of weeks so it's definitely finished. Wasn't it supposed to come out in January?

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane has been out but not in the US. I wouldn't have watched this movie if it wasn't for Amber Heard.

Poughkeepsie looks like a solid horror film. I've noticed that some of the best horror ends up DTV recently. Check out Inside and Gutterballs. Great low-budget horror.

Is Trick R Treat ever going to be released? I saw a trailer years ago and it never came to theater or a home video format.

I hope it's worth the wait like Midnight Meat Train. Trick r Treat got good rating on IMDB.

I went to college in Poughkeepsie in the 90s. I guess I am one of the lucky ones...I made it out.
