Paradigm Monitor7v.5 - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone have these speakers? Could you give me your opinions before I audition them? It's a far roadtrip, but the price is right.

Check out the other thread about Monitor 7's https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=87778 skar & sdhobbs both own a pair of these - they can share their experience with them, they both seem pretty happy. I listened to these in the showroom - v6s though but I heard they sound pretty much the same and I think they sound real nice - especially for the price. That thread will probably answer future questions you might have if you decide to go with these anyway. Good luck!

I have auditioned a pair of them at my local shop and loved them...very smooth sound. I am now saving my shekels to buy a pair.

Hey SammyG, I own those speakers and have nothing but good things to say about them. They look and sound great! I've owned them for a couple months now and have no regrets. Movies and music sound great on them. I compared them to Klipsch RF-62 and PSB Image T45 which are in the same price range and felt they sounded just as good. I probably would have been happy with any of these speakers, all of them sounded great at the dealers demo rooms. Ultimately I went with the Paradigms based on peoples reviews on AVS and my local dealer gave me a good price on the v.5's since the v.6's are out now. They are definitely worth a listen!

Only had them for a week now . So far I am happy. Good bang for the buck.
I paid $1088 plus tax for the Paradigm Monitor7v.6 & CC290v6 center
And last night picked up a pair of ADP-190 v5 for $350. surrounds

Nice to have two dealers with 20 miles of each other . (and they don't like each other

i would love to listen to paradigms, but even in the chicago area, i don't know who has em.

I have a set of monitors and I could not be happier,I am planning to upgrade to Studios in the next 6 months. But I highly recommend the monitior series get them.
