Well, it made $17,817,301 this weekend. That's a pretty steep drop from $55,214,334. I don't really expect much more from it domestically, it will make $10-13 million next weekend and then just continue to drop as it loses theatres. It's going to be lucky to reach $200 million domestic.

Duplicity (Universal) OPENER [2,575] Fri $4.6M, Wkd est $14.3M 4. Witch Mountain (Disney) Week 1 [3,187] Fri $3.7M (-45%), Wkd est $14M 5. Watchmen (Warner Bros) Week 3 [3,510] Fri $2M, Wkd est $7M 6. Last House (Rogue/Uni) Week 2 [2,403] Fri $1.9M, Wkd est $6.1M 7. Taken (Fox) Week 8 [2,661] Fri $1.3M, Wkd est $4.3M If these numbers hold, it still won't hit $100 million until mid to late week next week. It has made $50 million international of which is split $4 million to Fox, $12.5 million goes to Paramount and WB gets $33.5 million. Of it's US take, Fox is about at $8 million. There's an article about the posibility of WB not doing any R rated comic adaptations in the future. You can read it here: WB Puts a Stop to R-rated Superhero Films |
