...That Netflix has changed the format option for Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz from DVD only to include Blu-ray as a format option? Availability is still unknown, but hopefully this means a release date isn't far off.

Ya, those are still two titles Universal has to play catch-up on. I can't wait for them to come out and I read that the quality on both HD-DVD versions of Shaun & Hot Fuzz are great.

to answer your question, i noticed that too (at least on hot fuzz)

i'm sure everyone including myself has been waiting for these! i hope hot fuzz has everything the 3 disc dvd set did

Universal must be about to announce them. I noticed that the Blu ray option has also just been added for Inside Man, Red Dragon, Children of Men and Van Helsing; all of which are supposed to be released in June.

Add Seabiscuit, The Big Lebowski, In Bruges, Unleashed, Assault on Precinct 13, Waist Deep and Cinderella Man to this list of Blu ray option being added.

Amazon UK shows Inside Man date as June 1. I wonder if they will be released June 2nd; the same day Sony releases the Clive Owen film The International on BD.

I scanned Netflix some more today. These Universal titles are now showing up with option Blu ray (date unknown).

also NICE in regards to the UK release dates...i like many others have been patiently waiting for shaun and hot fuzz to make the blu conversion! day 1 pickup for me!
