Default Shaun of the Dead vs. Hot Fuzz

Both awesome movies imo, but if you had to choose one over the other, who would come out on top? Tough choice, I know. But for me, I have to give the slight edge to Hot Fuzz because...well I thought it was just a little more badass And cmon, it had Timothy Dalton

There really is no comparison as Shaun of the Dead completely blows it out of the water as Hot Fuzz was just a movie with some funny moments in it as Shaun was a masterpiece.

Shaun of the Dead for sure. Hot Fuzz had a lot of great moments and such. But collectively Shaun of the Dead rocked from the moment the movie stared till the end. I NEEEED this on Blu-ray a.s.a.p.!!!! There hasn't even been any announcements for it yet....

On another note I hope the main 2 guys do another movie together like these last two some time down the line.

Just checked IMBD and saw there's "Paul" & "The World's End" however no details on the two. Anyways should be awesome.

Also what would really rock is if Hot Fuzz & Shaun of the Dead could be packaged on one disc. In some kind of "ultimate" package seeing neither have even announced. Just as long the PQ/AQ quality don't suffer.

I wouldn't say Shaun blows Hott Fuzz out of the water. They are both great and equal and need to be on blu!

i believe paul is a reversal of roles. simon pegg will play the sidekick, and nick frost is the lead.

the worlds end is the last in the trilogy. no word on what its about, but i saw rumors of aliens

Hhmmm should be cool. If it's a 'trilogy' as they put it maybe we can hope for a trilogy box set, sometime late 2010. It looks like Universal is the distributor which is great as they've released, consistently some really top notch BD.

Hard choice, they are both brilliant comedies and truly hilarious but overall, I find Shaun of the Dead just a tiny bit better.

Hot Fuzz all the way baby. I mean have you not leapt through the air firing both guns before????!!!!

maybe it's because I'm an action movie junkie and don't like horror movies that I found Hot Fuzz better, more relatable i guess.

Damn. That's a hard choice. I've gotta go with Shaun of the Dead since I love zombies.
