Default Godzilla (1998) for October 26 (UK Region B)

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed a UK Region B release of the Roland Emmerich monster flick, U.S can at least expect a close Region A release by the same time of the UK's debut.

what is up with your pic? Is that a hint of an upcoming release or just fan created? I remember you had the ring before this....

On topic, this movie wasn't bad but wasn't good either. I am sure it will look nice on blu. I will pick it up at some point during a sale.

I remember seeing this when my cousin came over from Oklahoma. They didn't have the front sound on. Could hardly here what they were saying.

Actually I rather have Godzilla The Series released on Blu ray than the film. I'll even take a dvd version. The series was so much better than the movie because it stayed more faithful to TOHO formula than the U.S movie. Monster vs Monster.

This is definately something I'll get when released on BD here in the U.S..... its release shouldn't be that far after this release... maybe even before?

It did say March on the Amazon page because I had brought up the US film in a thread about the Japanese Godzilla films. Sucks, I was looking forward to getting it. March was supposed to be a big spending month for me because both Grindhouse and Godzilla were due out on Blu-Ray but they are not.

I thought it was a fun popcorn flick. Entertaining. Loud. Good effects. Yes, I will add it to my Blu-ray library when it is available.

Awful movie, absolutely awful -- shameless in its theft from other movies, inept in its own creations, laughable in its action and logic, and the only movie to succeed at making Harry Shearer deeply unfunny.

Wouldn't bring this Blu-Ray within a mile of my home theater.

Would you bring the original 1954 Uncut Japanese version home to Blu Ray?
