OVERVIEW

STORY

I know its a derail, but its only 1 question.

Any word of a DoA reaching the PS3? Or is this a title that will always be an exclusive? I don't know the history behind it, but really enjoyed playing it as a kid.

One thing I hope they improve is the Ninpo aspect. Going through Sigma 1, I rarely used it. Hopefully they better implement it in Sigma 2.

Awful video quality but still not the most exciting environment.

from the gameplay reviewed many things:

*Body parts do not stay or appear.
*Dead bodies stay.
*Numbers on screen have been limited!
*In gameplay 2 had so much enemies and game didn't slow down!
*You can now see were you are going next (next objectives)
*Wolves still act dumb!
*no glitches nor bugs!
*Ayane's specific explosive kauna is automatted target, it's like how you use the Ninpon in NG2 and you use the analog to switch to different enemies.
*Rachel has a new ninpon venom rose or something. (but still has the same effect as the rest of the girls ninpon attacks)
*The gameplay is EXTREMELY back to Sigma 1 style! So no more fast paced and annoying enemies attacking off screen.
*Although they are still shooting arrows offscreen and throwing shurikens:/
*I think the maximum enemies on screen is 5.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is Koei Tecmo's first official game

Koei Tecmo Holdings is, as of today, a fully merged company. The final dotted lines have been signed, and the two firms are now a lawfully wedded couple. Koei Europe has just issued a press release stating that it will henceforth be known as Tecmo Koei Europe (TKE) and that the first game released by this "new force in gaming" is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

NGS2 has a demo up on PlayStation Network so you can give this first official game a spin. From what I played of it at E3, it seems like a rather strong debut for Koei Tecmo. Should be good for a laugh, with plenty of semi-clad women bouncing their busters around. Far be it from Tecmo to let a corporate merger stifle its rampant objectification of women.

Why not try out the demo and let us know what you think? Or don't. It doesn't matter to me, for God's sake.
