Default Yamaha 3900/onkyo 876

I want a 140 watt receiver that is in this class. I like the things the yamaha has other than the networking, I really dont care about it. There ar emore things in the yamaha I like, but dont want to spend the extra money on the networking crap.

If you're just looking for the power, why not go with separates, or at least a cheaper receiver with pre-outs?

I like the idea of the great upscaling, and I like the hd radio features. I want to get as much as I can out of a "all in one" for now. Yes I would really like to have a 7 channel 200 watt/ but its not in the cars right now.

I am trying to stay in the 1k-1200 range

Maybe even the onkyo 906.

If you like the 3900, you should check out the RX-V1900. It offers 130 watts x 7 (20Hz to 20kHz, .04%THD), and you can find it online for around $1,000.

The feature set is virtually identical to the 3900, but it doesn't include networking. Plus, you will not hear a loudness difference with just 10 watts less per channel.

I agree with grills, 1900 is the best option for what your looking for IMO.
