Looks like Hot Fuzz will get a release on July 27 according to Amazon.

Can't wait. No Shaun of the Dead unfortunately.

I hope it will be region free. If so, it will be well worth the import. I wish the bastadges at Universal would announce a release here....soon.

Agree...I have been waiting a long time for those two movies.

I too can not wait for these to be released. Lets hope they are not ported over from the HD-DVD release

and get a nice transfer for BD.

The Hot Fuzz HD DVD was absolutely stunning, so there'd be nothing to complain about there. But considering Universal has re-encoded every single title they've ever released on Blu-ray, I don't think there is any chance of Hot Fuzz getting a "port."

this is one of very few titles I would pay top dollar for to have imported. Can't wait!

That movie was one of the best releases, PQ wise, on the format.

You should be hoping it IS a port from the HD DVD, so they don't decide to add DNR or something. Some lossless audio will be nice.
