Default Need Ps3 Power Cable

I have extra HDMI cables..... and the wife won't allow me to purchase a Stand-Alone player for my movie room (yet) So I would like to find a power cable that is compatible for the PS3 at a decent price so I can move one of my PS3s to the living room for the occasional movie (like kid films since my son doesn't do so well in the blacked-out theater room, and we don't want him to watch movies in our bedroom) Either way.... I need another power cable so I can leave it plugged in, and just move a PS3 to the living room whenever I want, without causing cable-chaos anywhere......

Where can I find one cheaply?

the ps3 uses a standard computer power cable that you can buy at any place that sells computers..

Funny thing this came up I was just about to post a thread simply asking if it were the same as a regular computer cable, which I shortly learned it is...Thank you!

When I was tinkering with my PS3, I looked inside the power supply and found that there were at least TWO fuses there. The very first fuse that electricity will find is a 5A fuse (5 amperes).

I don't know about the US cable (I have one and I can't see how it can work) but over here, we can buy these cables with removable fuses; removable so that if the fuse burnt, you can replace it easily. I've run the PS3 with a 5A fuse and it works fine. The standard PC or electric kettle fuse is 13A.
