Default Star Trek Movie

I just watched this in a sneak preview at my son's job at a local AMC. As a trekkie, I noticed a lot of inconsistencies in the movie; but the action is as advertised (from the trailers). I'm not gonna ruin it for people who have not seen it yet, but I wouldn't go back and see it in the theaters. I'll just wait for the blu-ray release.

Based on you being a trekkie, this thread would've been great to post in the "lol trekkies are refusing to watch star trek" thread, to lol back at them.

Or since you gave a bit of a review, maybe the "Star Trek Review Thread" would've been a better place.

Or since you noticed inconsistencies in the movie, just like Ebert, maybe the
"Roger Ebert Criticizes Star Trek" thread is actually more suitable.

Since you don't think it's worth seeing again (like The Dark Knight was, for most people) maybe you could've mentioned something in the "How much will Star Trek make opening weekend" thread.

And if none of those fit, maybe one of the other 148 Star Trek threads could work. Or just add one more, because what's 1 more thread, right?

LOL, oh well like you said there are so, so many of this redundant thread scattered throughout the forums. Guess I didn't bother to search for them. I guess another can't hurt. If so, just lock it...lol

There's already numerous threads about the film.

And the inconsistancies are explained right in the narrative.

OMG, if there are already that many threads then one more won't hurt.

Sure it will.

They're unneccesary and clutter up the forum with the same people saying the same stuff.
