Default Projection Screen Against a Window?

My extra bedroom can fit a 9ft wide projection screen with a 14 feet viewing distance. The catch is that the projection screen will have to be mounted against a 6 feet wide window. So I figure a 9 feet wide projection screen can simply cover the window. Sounds good? Any problems with temperature influx issues?

9 feet wide 16:9 screen? That's 5' x 9'

At 14 feet you'll watch 1.85 wide movies at 2.9PH and Scope 2.39 wide movies at 3.7PH (PH = picture heights). If you have a 1080p projector you can sit closer if you want (I'd sit at around 10 feet for 1.85s and 8 feet for Scope myself )

About your windows thermal issues.
First check that no light from the window is spilling through the screen's material (that would reduce contrast ratio and blacks on screen) so make sure is totally opaque to the window light. If you think sunlight is gonna heat your screen from the back, make sure you cover the back side with white (or paint it) so the white reflects 90% of the light. Dark colors reflect less light so they get hotter (a red car absorbs 10 times more sunlight than a white one )
