Default Projection Screen Recommendations

I'm getting ready to purchase a new screen and want some options that i might not have looked at, I'm looking at a 92"-100" and in the $0 - $700 range, also used is a possible option as well.

Thanks in advance

I just painted my screen on with this http://www.paintonscreen.com/

...looks pretty damn good...course you do have to have a dedicated wall for it.

I was thinking of the route but the wall the screen will be on is a false wall with speakers behind the screen, the screen can either be acoustic material or a standard screen the speakers will sit just below the screen.

Tough to find accoustic screens within that price range.

Screen Excellence sells accoustic screen material as well as screens so it may be cheaper to build one yourself. Here is a link to their distributor in the U.S.

St. John Group

Granted this is not in you price range, but if I were able to get a projector I would go with a screen from SmX.

I moved this to the "Screen" section.... perhaps our resident "Brain" will pick it up on his radar and offer some advice

I'm thinking of getting a fixed frame from the projectorpeople site. Even with a 106' or 120' screen, putting the fronts behind it would seem like a narrow stage to me. I have them about 8' apart.

Here is the 106" I'm thinking about for $280:

Or the 119" for $430: (grey or white)

I recommend Carada.....a very good quality screen can be had within your price range. Look at the Criterion series.
