Thanks for rectifying that, I searched but found nothing. Might've typoed "mision" or something.

Great movie though, because it has Jerry O'Connell in it.

Will mission to mars actually come out on Blu-ray because it says it will come out on 22nd september? but on the "coming soon" segement it says nothing about mission to mars so will this movie even come out on blu-ray in the UK?

Today my copy arrived and I tested it immediately. Unfortunately, as far as I can see now, the French subs are really forced. I did not have much time to experiment but as far as I can see now it's forced. Fortunately the subs are small and very low in the screen.

Actually, Mission to Mars was one of the very early Canal titles that had imposed subtitles (another one from the same batch is Arizona Dream). Things have changed dramatically since then.

I have the Studio Canal German mediabook release and the subtitles are NOT forced. It's quite nice looking also compared to the region 1 DVD.
