Default Chris Botti Live.... Damn 24bit-96kHz

wow

PCM 5.1 Surround (96kHz/24-bit/13.8mbps)

This must be the first BD / HD-DVD title with 96kHz sampling ?

13.8Mbps for the audio!

Really, they must have slapped the master recording on the disc. I'm amazed they recorded live at such a high sample rate.

And only $14.95 at Amazon.com! Link here

I believe Chronos actually has a 24bit/96kHz DTS-HD MA track. But as for an LPCM track that we can actually hear right now, this might be a first.

You can buy this at DeepDiscount and with their current promotion of 20% off (DVD/BD/HD-DVD - Coupon is DVDTALK), you can get this title for around US$10.

I don't like DVDTalk because of one reviewer there (y'all know who he is) but they do get the coupons business.

very very nice.

Now all we need is DTS-HD MA on every movie track to save space for the best possible video bitrate, and voila.

Thanks to a recommendation in this forum, I ordered Chris Botti: Live with Orchestra and Guests and never grow tired of it. Now I can't wait to get Chris Botti in Boston.

This was one of the first BD's I ever ordered, and I'm still blown away by the AQ/PQ every time I play it.

The Chris Botti Boston disc is one I'll be getting as well, not sure when though. But get it I will.

No doubt, this is definitely a must own concert. It's nothing short of amazing....the concert itself is amazing, and the PQ/AQ is stunning. When Billy Kilson does his drum solo towards the end it's amazing how crisp his hi-hat sounds. Just a smooth concert altogether. Sometimes I don't even watch it. I just turn the tv off and listen to it. It just sounds that good.
