Default Anyone else experience this at Wal-Mart?

Ever since BD movies came on the market, the only title available at the store in my area was and still is Xmen3. I asked the saleskid when they will have more titles and he said that the company had an influx of employee theft with the Blu-ray and PSP movies, so corporate decided not to stock them.

BTW: There is still that one lonely Xmen disc sitting in stock collecting dust with a price tag of $34.99.

The Wal-mart by my house usually has 10-15 bluray movies. Though it doesn't have a lot, their selection usually changes a lot.

wal marts customers look for a bargains and until prices are more customer friendly i do not think they will be interested until this is meet or there is a clear winner.
personally i have heard that comment about the one BD on display before.
To anybody who knows any better or can afford to do otherwise, I would avoid shopping there at all costs, as for me its been over 2 years.

You're not the only one, all four Super Walmarts in my general area either don't have any or have that one lonely X-Men 3 Blu-ray.

Agreed, I think the crowd who is looking for bargains on t-shirts with Taz riding a Harley isn't exactly the ones who are gonna buy Blu-ray.

It has been over two years since i have made a purchase from wal mart.
I watched the anti wal mart video high cost of low prices also with the job that I work I am a union member.
Two main reasons, besides the store layout, lighting, shelves of clutter and (at risk of sounding like a snob) the type of people that shop there.

Honestly, the only reason I shop there is because it's the only place where I could get a spatula and tire rotations in the same place...at 2 in the morning...and only spend $3.

Would I buy electronics there? No. I don't want TV advise from a kid who works in electronics today and was probably working in produce yesterday.

I went looking for Weeds: Season 1 on blu-ray yesterday and couldn't find it at any B & M store. The guy at Best Buy told my the reason they didn't have it was because blu-ray was not selling well there. I guess they don't count all my purchases.

I stopped shopping there recently after getting tired of dealing with the type of people they seem to attract.

I would never ever ever ever buy anything ever from there...ever.

Unfortunately, I have to deal with the store on a weekly basis as part of my job. Everything about that business is a pain in the ass.

Denver. They actually have a pretty big section for blu-ray, and a decent sized HD-DVD section too. They usually have every movie I've looked for.

Thumbs up Blahhh!

Walmart is gross...usually no one interested in Blu-ray shops there...and if anyone is interested in HD then they are buying the cheapest crap out there and looking for the best deal...which does not spell Blu-ray. Shop at amazon or I find that my local Circuit City has much more Blu-ray titles than Best Buy!

Circuit City is WAY overpriced. Do they price match other B & M stores?

Whenever I pull into a parking lot in my 2002 Dodge Caravan, and my vehicle is the newest and nicest, It's time to shop elsewhere.
