Analog Stereo Output - Blu-ray Forum

I currently run my Panasonic DMP-BD30 through the analog stereo output into my CJ valve gear and Sonus Faber speakers.
Now my question is, am i getting PCM and DTS-MA through those outputs? Or is it just plain vanilla Dolby Digital or DTS?

plain vanilla.

unless your running multichannel analog inputs, or hdmi, you aint getting the new formats. just yet.

Actually you're getting 2 channel PCM for the PCM, but vanilla DD or DTS downmixed to stereo for the others
