Default Vintage help please

Anyone ever hear of these?

DBX Soundfield V Stereo Imaging Speakers

Circa 1990 I'm told..... They look solid, it's a craigslist find.... and I'm all about picking up more stuff (whether I need it or not) if it's worth the money!!!

EDIT:

Just found a review on them, but only one review..... anyone here get a chance to listen to these????

How much Beta? I've heard them before - make sure that all of the drivers are intact before you purchase these. They put out pretty good sound, reminds me of Ohm speakers. The largest model (the ones above these) actually have an active crossover included. how much do they want for them?

P.S. sound is very different from your B&W's!!!!

$150 for the pair..... thinking it would be a good pair of speakers to just have around.... play around with, and if I don't like them, I'm not out much.... (I found a lot of info on the model above these...... apparently $3K MSRP compared to the $1,900 or so for these)

Just thought they seemed like a good deal for some vintage speakers..... besides... I still have 3 or 4 AVRs not in use.... so if nothing else, I could give them to my dad to listen to his old Jazz LPs on.

I am going to PM you the link, so you can see the description and pictures (not sure of forum rules )
