Default Another vintage score?

Upon digging further in my storage room, I came across this:

http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...suiau-7900.jpg

A Sansui AU-7900 (Circa ~1970)

It's an integrated amp, looks to be in good condition, but I'm told that the volume knob causes all sorts of problems.

Before I waste valuable time trying to clean it, is it worth hooking up to my Kenwood KL-888D's (also from ~1970)?

It looks like a great amp, but it's not like I'd know about anything from the 70's. . Any thoughts?

Well, upon further inspection of my receiver (VSX-819H-K), it appears as though the only pre-outs on the receiver are for surround back channels. I guess this would make it impossible to connect this amp to it for the L/R channels?

Great amp, in my opinion use it for a small secondary system. A little DeOxit from Radioshack will fix that knob no problem.
