Default Any Beatles on blu

I would love any Beatles on blu, especially the Anthology set! I would also settle for Help! or Hard Days Night.

Default True Blood on HBO

Did anyone catch the first episode this week? I think HBO has come up with another good series, I was really impressed.

Very good first episode. I'll be watching the next most definitely, especially with how the last one ended, I can't help but tune in for the next episode.

I was disappointed but then again I was expecting something more along the lines of six feet under which was the best tv series EVER!

I typically like vampire based shows and movies so I'll give it a shot. But some aspects of the first episode seemed a little forced. The friend that walked out of her job seemed a little annoying.

Sceond episode was great. They are really taking the time exploring the characters. The cliffhanger at the end of the second episode is just crazy.

didn't get a chance to watch the 2nd episode. worked a 13 hour shift so I tried to stay awake as long as I could. Got as far as when the Vampire guy and the girl was leaving her house. I think it's a little boring. Just don't like the concept that everybody knows vampires exsist. People want to be them, kill them, drain them, and meet them.

I've seen the first episode and thought it was ok. It might grow on me like Dexter did (yeah I know it's showtime, but I think the show is fantastic).
I hope the show doesn't go political and try to get too preachy with a social message...The acting was ok and the story is very different, not sure if I like the fact that vampires are wanting rights etc., it sounds too much along the lines of the x-men movies. I can see this getting too political for my liking...

I have the 2nd episode on my dvr, will watch it soon, haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, I really liked the second episode. I think I might of picked up on a future plot line last night, but I might just be looking to hard for a twist that isn't there. Regardless it was a good episode and I can't wait for the next one.

Did anybody catch the headline on the paper in the second episode?

"Angelina Adopts Vampire Baby"

i saw the beginning of one episode
[Show spoiler] some girl was getting kicked and beaten up pretty bad until some spirit/ ghost thing came to kill both of them
and i actually thought it was pretty good so far but stopped watching it as i figured i was already incredibly late on the show series and wouldn't understand anything. Didn't know it had just started. lol

Default Scrubs season 8 update

Quote:
Scrubs, despite entering its eighth season of existence, has gotten a raw deal. NBC, which aired Scrubs over its first seven seasons, treated the medical comedy like complete crap. Scrubs never had a steady time slot, was pushed and pulled around the schedule, and never had a chance to resonate with as big of an audience as it should have. It was shameful behavior by NBC, and their treatment of Scrubs ran all the way through last season, which most TV fans assumed would be Scrubs last. Until, that is, ABC picked up the show for it's eighth and likely final season. The Scrubs team have recently finished filming their final season 8 episode, though the show isn't set to premiere until mid-season on ABC. Below you will find all the Scrubs spoilers currently available for season 8.
http://www.buddytv.com/articles/scru...n-8-20260.aspx

Spoilers below

[Show spoiler]Scrubs season 8 will have sixteen episodes, and they have finished filming all of them.

As reported previously, Scrubs season 8 will contain a wedding in the Bahamas. It's the Janitor's wedding, and he invited 700 people at the last minute to try and get the presents. JD calls his bluff and brings a group to the Bahamas. The episode, which will be one hour, was actually filmed in the Bahamas.

Much of the season will focus on the main characters' relationships with the new interns, who will be played by Aziz Ansari, Eliza Coupe, Betsy Beutler and Lee Thompson Young. It's possible that Scrubs will have a ninth season in which the interns become the main characters.

Guest stars for Scrubs season 8 include these actors who have previously appeared on Scrubs: Elizabeth Banks, Scott Foley, Tom Cavanagh, Amy Smart, and Nicole Sullivan.

Courtney Cox will play the the Chief of Medicine for three episodes. No one will particularly like her.

Scott Foley and Elizabeth Banks' characters will actually be dating, which isn't going to make JD or Elliot all that pleased.

Turk and Carla will be planning to have another child.

And, yes – Elliot and JD will reconnect, and the finale will deal with the two of them.

Default Season 1 of Sopranos

I just picked this up. Im on the first episode and the picture quality is absolutely AWFUL. Its just a DVD but it is definitely extra bad. Anyone else see this problem on their season 1? I sure hope they aren't all like this.
