Lionsgate and other studios have been re-releasing a lot of movies with Digital Copies. The BDs are still the same.

I was curious about this title as well. it would be nice if it is a remastered print as it looks to have a modified poster art which is a plus. I pre-ordered it when amazon had it listed for $10.98. If it turns out to be the same disc as before I'll just cancel it out.

Was thinking it was a DigiBook at first.
But it doesn't look like it.
Hopefully it is derived from a 4k Source Master. But, like you, I doubt it.

If you want a great version of First Blood, grab the remastered German or Australian Ultimate Edition Trilogy sets.

The existing Blu-ray that I bought for five dollars at Target works perfectly well for me, and I've been a fan of this movie since its release during my childhood.

Take the money that you would have spent on this re-release and buy the amazing source novel by David Morrell. It's one of the grittiest and toughest novels that you'll ever read.

Bizarre that Lionsgate is sitting on the remastered Rambo Trilogy that's available everywhere else in the world...you have to wonder if they EVER intend to release it here at this rate.

I would imagine once Rambo: Last Blood comes out next year we may get a box set.....

I got Dusk Till Dawn and Stargate in Lionsgate's last re-release binge and they were definitely the same discs. Not expecting anything else here.

I still haven't gotten around to getting any of the Rambo films yet. Need to get on that.
