Uncharted or GTA4 - Blu-ray Forum

So far i have mgs4...resistance..motorstorm...burnout paradise...ratchet and clank...gh3....and im thinking about getting a new game.
i will probably end up with both...but i dunno for now should i get

gta4 or uncharted...i havent played either...i liked the demo for uncharted.but didnt get a good feel for it....and havent played gta 4...but i get mixed reactions from it...

Any suggestions is appreciated

How often do you buy new games? If it's more than once a month, then Uncharted (bonus: Trophies!) If less often, GTA4, since it lasts longer.

I haven't played uncharted except for the demo. I've got GTA IV and got more than halfway through it, but lost interest in it and haven't played it since. I was hooked at first cause it is gta but it doesn't live up to the others.

Uncharted hands down GTA 4 was a big letdown i played through the 1st mission and got to the 2nd and i got bored of it. luckily i only rented it besides Uncharted has a lot better graphics anyways

Wow i figured most people would suggest gta 4....i never really heard of uncharted til lately and the demo was cool too.
Guess i'll go with that 1.....

Is gta 4 a good game to own tho? or should i just pass on it?

Im trying to save because im getting madden 09 when it comes out.

Yeah im glad i asked the question....first i figured everyone would think i was crazy..that gta 4 was the game to definatly have on the ps3...
i liked all the other ones...but i was getting mixed reactions to this one
even with the 10/10 score for it...i have mgs4 ...havent beat it yet...but it also got a 10/10 and i like it pretty good....i spend alot of time on resistance online tho.

Wonder if saints row 2 will be any better than gta 4?
i might just wait for it to come out then.

Both games are stunning, so hard to pick one, but Uncharted did something amazing, so go for that one :P

wait for uncharted to be released as greatest hits and than buy it. Buy GTA IV in the meantime. If tha'ts not possible, buy Uncharted now

GTA 4 will last you a lot longer, it took me 10 hrs to beat Uncharted. GTA4 is not the best in the series definitely, but it's still better than Uncharted.

You'll probably only play Uncharted once for then never again (making it a great rental). GTA4 has multiplayer....

Actually, Resistance and Motorstorm are now Greatest Hits. The $30 version with red cases should start showing up in stores soon.

Sony just announced at E3 that the following games would be getting Greatest Hits pricing:

Resistance 1, Motorstorm 1, Warhawk, Call of Duty 3, Fight Night, Need for Speed Carbon, Rainbow Six Vegas, Assassin's Creed, Oblivion, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

i agree however i can pretty much guarantee that it will become one.

I would choose it over GTA4. I own uncharted and I think the replay value is also super high. (although I beat it the first time in about 15 and I dont game hardly ever so you might want to consider that as well)

Uncharted is a must buy. Give no second thought.

GTA4 is optional. With MP on GTA4 it will have long playable hours even after beating the game. But the game itself is quite underwhelming.
