Default Which LG Blu-ray Internal Drive?

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a BlueRay internal drive for my PC.
I'll be using new drive just for storing large amounts of data.

I chosen LG because I've always had their drives in my PC
and find them to be very reliable. The two drives on the short
list are the LG GGC H20L and the LG GGW H20L.

Which of these two drives is the best for my purpose?

Thanks for all answers.

It depends on whether or not you want to burn Blu-ray discs. The GGW-H20L can read and write to them. The GGC-H20L is read only. Both are great drives IMO.

The LG GGC-H20L does not write Blu-ray discs but the GGW-H20L is a Blu-ray writer that also reads HD DVD.

You might want to consider the brand new GBW-H20L which is a less expensive Blu-ray writer that does not read HD DVD.

Thanks for the answers.

I've looked at pictures of the GBW-H20L and from what I can gather,
it's an external model. So that leaves the GGW-H20L as the best model
for me.

I think I'll get it from More Computers as they seem to be the cheapest!

Thanks again.

The GBW-H20L is an internal unit:
