Hey everyone ! Has anybody else heard of this major announcement thats suppose to be coming from sony on 6/11/07 ?

Yeah, they're going to announce PS3 HD movie downloads available for all titles that are currently available only on HD-DVD.

(Wouldn't that be cool if it were real?)

There's rumors that Sony will be announcing their new XBR, W, & V series LCD flat panel TVs later this week or early next. In addition, the new XBR and 3000 series SXRD rear projection TVs are part of thier "2007 TV line" announcement that is forthcoming.

Either that, or it's the Spiderman Trilogy BD announcement for Oct/Nov (though it would seem to be a little early for that, you never know).

yeah, i heard about it. The great thing is that it was a 3rd party hyping this "game" up (allgames.com) and they're generally anti-Sony (they don't hide it either - they claim lack of games is the cause which is reasonable at this time). What I want the announcement to be would be:

new Chrono Trigger!
but, I'll also take a new Strider

VGChartz Forums reported from a Podcast on AllGames.com that on June 11st Sony will be making a major announcement. Here are a few quotes from the PodCast:

"I can tell you this.. On June 11th playstion nation will be smiling wide, because they are gonna have something the 360 people can only dream of and it was real time!!! ...real time im tellin ya!! what we saw...we've been sworn to secrecy"

My guess is Killzone or some game we have never heard of. It would be weird if they released Killzone info early. I thought they where waiting for E3.

i hope its either some games, or some big bluray announcements. The tv stuff is good in all but i dont think thats it considering they said it will put a smile on the playstation people. And what xbox owners can only dream of having so its not tvs.

Right, I didn't realize when I posted that this was PS3 related only. Still, I'm ready for a new TV, and those announcements are coming too (supposedly)!!!

oh man the suspense is killing me. definitely a game. one we have not heard about yet, though? or a blockbuster that is going to be released early? maybe it's Q-Bert in 1080p? WHAT IS IT??????????????
