i dont know why people keep talking about catwoman. Nolan said he would not use catwoman or the penguin in any films, simply because their are SOO many villians in the batman world and those have already been done. plus the penguin is too far fetched.

Another thing that triggered this thought for me was the scene in I am Legend where you see the Batman/Superman logo on the movie theatre. It made me wonder if they just thought it would be cool to put it there or if they were hinting at something...

Seems a little goofy to me.

What I heard from a friend is that they're trying to get Jim Carrey to reprise his role as The Riddler, originally, he wanted to make his character really twisted and dark, but the they wouldn't let him in Batman Forever, they wanted him to be cartoony and goofy. Bringing him back in Nolan's dark Batman world would be great, Carrey's barely aged too.

I also read on a LA Times blog that they'd like to see Angelina Jolie as Catwoman. That isn't a bad start.
