The Riddler, played by Adrian Brody. One of his main thugs for hire\2nd in command could be a guy named Bane. The theme behind the movie would need to be redemption.

I don't want to see Catwoman as the villain personally.

I would much rather have the Riddler, but they would need to have some very clever riddles and not the cheap stuff from the 60s series.

So, I'm leaning towards a villain we haven't seen before. I'd LOVE to see Clayface. They could do so much with him. Bring on Johnny Depp!

Clayface is a joke. To fake a cop out.

If the Riddler is involved, it could be more of a detective story. He would interview Riddler in Arkham after capturing him during a robbery. When Batman is in Arkham he could go past the Joker (while being analyzed by an attractive blond doctor and Scarecrow (just to show they're there). Once the riddle is figured out, it would lead to Two-Face as the brains and Riddler is a pawn.

Christina Ricci wants to play Catwoman, she has spoken about it since 2005. Philip Seymour Hoffman was wanted to play Penguin, but Nolan has said that it would be difficult to fit him in there because they want to make his Batman as realistic as possible and i guess a midget with an umbrella fetish (lol) doesnt fit in his movies

There is one problem with that, Nolan wants people who can act, which pretty much eliminates anybody from Operation Dumbo Drop.

Riddler is best played "not over the top". Riddler is self-obsessed. He believes that he is the smartest man alive. I actually think that the Riddler is a weaker member of the Batman Rogues Gallery.

Is there any villians out there that can be normal...but have the skills to actually fight batman if needed?.....maybe martial arts or something.
not just somebody that lays traps and once batman catches them they get beat up and put in jail......

weaker? they're all pretty weak aside from the joker. there's no real power to them at all. speedball could mop the floor with these guys.

Against this Joker, yes. I always thought that Two-Face was great because Batman had to wrestle with the fact that Harvey Dent was such an honorable person. Catwoman was great because Batman had to fight his attraction for her.

other than the riddler there running out of characters that can be realistic
then they will have to get into the penguin
mr freeze...catwoman...bane...clay face...poison ivy...croc...mad hatter...
then the movies will prolly go downhill....but who knows..they might be good just probably totally different from the first 2...unless theres a villian i dont know about...the joker character pretty much being unable to return...seems to put a damper on things...IMO

they're ok, but they're not really fantastic villains. they're lame really, with the exception of the joker. but then most of the dc villains are lame.

Two-face, Scarecrow, Catwoman are all great villians. They best thing about what Nolan is doing, is that he can reuse villians, because he is not killing them off.

He had to really reach far to pretend to be a drunk.

I love leary's comedy, but he won't be given such a large role in a franchise of this magnitude.

i think he did kill off two face.....and scare crow was shown to be not a threat at all in dark knight...he was about to get owned by some gangsters until the fake batmans showed up lol.

catwoman is a good villian...but with the fake 9 lives thing thats not something i care for...if they add her but make her good in martial arts and use the whip that would be cool....i just hope they stay on track.
