![]() If your asking if there is a reason to get into Blu-ray if you only have a 1080i TV, then yes. You will definitely see and hear* an improvement over DVD. I suggest you read over a few of the stickied threads in the Home Theater forums, particularly with regard to what connections you use. *Provided you are set up with a good sound system. |

Ditto that, my family has a 65" 1080i CRT TV in the family room and Blu-ray looks spectacular on the set. A huge step up from DVD and very similar to what I've seen on a 1080P set. So, go for it dude.
