Default BDP-S1 Audio Sync Irritation HELP!

Dear Sirs/Mesdames,

Just wanted to if others have experienced audio sync problems when viewing at 1080p/24 ? For example, I'll be viewing "Layer Cake" when all of sudden voice and mouth movements become severely mismatched !. If, I switch to 1080i/60 the problem magically disappears ! (If I stop the player completely and restart the BDP-S1 the issue will sometimes resolve itself while remaining in 1080p/24 ). This issue also occurred while I watched "The Departed". Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.

Thanks again.

Default Your TV may be 1080i

Check your HDTV. It may be 1080i. If so, then you need to go into Setup on your BDP-S1 and set the output to be 1080i. Otherwise, sync problems will occur. One of the many wonderful things about the BDP-S1 is that it's output can be set at EITHER 1080p or 1080i. Take a good close look at your TV owners' manual.

I have the same Tv (same brand). I don't have any problems. I would guess your problem lies more in your player than your tv.

I have no problems with 1080p/24, but I use a PS3.

Do you think this audio sync problem could have anything to do with my receiver ? I use the HDMI ( out of the BDP-S1 ) for video only. I run coaxial from the BDP-S1 to my VSX-33TX for the audio? Could this be the problem with the "sync" ? Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.
