This is one of those pieces of younger and better days that should be definitely preserved.

I just grabbed it on DVD this past year and for years I had been looking for it.

I remember I used to go to a church run day care and they took us to see that. It wasn't long after it started, it seemed, that they gathered all of us up pretty quick and marched us out of there. lol

I remember we were all sitting on the sidewalk outside the theater waiting for the church bus to come around and pick us up.

lol

our Fearless Leaders were not pleased with that movie, or what little we actually saw. lol

seeing as how it airs on an HD Channel, anyone heard any news on whether it will be on Blu anytime soon?

Has anyone heard anything on this? The fact that it's airing on HD channels, would at least lead me to believe that it may one day get a Blu Ray release.

There are some garbage ass movies on Blu Ray, I would think a classic like this could get released.

So it's being released in the UK this month. Looks like I'll have to import it, as a review I saw said it was region free (AB & C).
