Pioneer VSX LX70 or Onkyo TX-SR606? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm just about to upgrade my amp from my trusty old Yamaha DSP A3090 to either the Onkyo TX-SR606 or the Pioneer VSX-LX60 or LX70. I've read the reviews and am impressed with both but to be honest something is pulling me towards the Pioneer - its black n gorgeous and has everything DTS HD and DDTrueHD (and of course it's Pioneer so say no more). Anybody have their opinions?

If you like the styling of the Pioneer, why not.

IMO, Pioneer has always sounded brittle & sterile, but again, that's just my opinion.
