I really hope they announce tropic thunder for bluray, just saw it tonight and it was great! plus there is a part in there where the one character is explaining the whole hd-dvd vs. bluray and says "which format picks porn usually wins but this time the ps3 guys have bluray and thats why blu won!" great great funny movie and i loved that they threw that in there

It will be available in Blu-ray on the date of release. Little doubt about that.

Yeah, I was waiting for someone to bring this up as well. And the funny part is after he's finished explaining it, Kirk Lazarus/Osiris turns around and goes "Oh wait, you were actually talking to me?"

i just saw it and he never says anothing about blu winning , he starts to say every ps3 has blu ray and kirk says are you talking to me.

Sandusky (Baruchel): If you recall that whole hullabaloo, uh, where Hollywood was splitting the schism -- some studios backing Blu-Ray disc, others backing HD-DVD -- people thought it would come down to pixel-rate or refresh rate, and they're pretty much the same. What it came down to was a combination of gamers and porn. Now whichever format porno backs is usually the one that becomes the, uh, the most successful. Uh...but you know...Sony...every Playstation 3 has a Blu-Ray...

This movie really was great. Third best movie of the year behind Dark Knight and Iron Man. This was easily the best year of Robert Downey Jr's career.

agreed RDJ really made the movie everytime he was in a scene i was laughing. my fav part was when they were trying to come up a with a plan and he just started smiling all the sudden then slowly put on a serious face.
