New dual shock controller - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know of a photo that shows the new ps3 dual shock controller? I mean a photo where you're looking at the front of it.

Weird how Sony decided to put an IGN.com logo on the side of their PS3 controller.

I just noticed something odd. Sony said the PS3 can support 7 controllers (including wireless driving wheels and other add-ons), so why are there only 4 indicator lights on that controller?

There's one of two possiblities why there are only 4 lights total. Either the photo is a prototype and we'll see 7 lights total on the final version or we'll only use 4 controllers at one time, if Sony scraps the 7 controller idea. They would piss off a lot of Sony fans, including me. Or a third idea is that we'll use 4 controllers, the PSP, and two other add ons to function as controllers like steering wheels or something. Keep in mind that there wasn't any demonstration of seven dual shock controllers being used so this may be one of the lose ends that Sony is working on right now, with the memory card issue being the other lose end.

That's my understanding - up to four players can play a game wirelessly, and the other three slots are for other wireless equipment you may be using; headset, keyboard, whatever.

I wonder if it is possible to transfer content to your PSP, while the PS3 is being used for game or movie playing?

You'll be able to use the psp when a game is loaded into the ps3 because at E3, there was a demo of an F1 racing game and the psp will used as a rearview mirror. All that I've heard is that the psp will connect to the ps3 by wireless mode. The networking switch will be used. Going back to the controller, I'm guessing that ony 4 controllers will be used at one time and not 7. Then again, things could change prior to launch time.
