Disney has been the most consistent with only a few misses over one of the largest catalogs released yet. Sony is probably in second with Universal receiving an Honorable mention for their limited number of releases. Fox has released better blu's since their short hiatus in 2007, but their previous releases weren't up to the quality of Disney or Sony. Some small studios like lionsgate have released consistently good blu's.

I agree about the Disney (incl. Touchstone, Hollywood, Miramax, etc.) and Sony one-two ranking. There's lots of great looking/sounding BD titles from both studios.
Have to give Lionsgate some kudos for certain high quality discs and their generally greater level of support for things like 7.1 surround sound than I see from most major studios. Universal isn't doing bad either so far. They just haven't released that many BDs yet. |

Greetings,
I agree that Disney been pretty consistent however they don't release nearly as many titles as Sony. I think that if I had to look at them with that in mind I would probably say that its a tie between Disney and Sony with Fox coming in behind them. Paramount has some catching up to do and Warner has consistency issues to be sure. Its pretty early in the game for Universal. I think that if you threw Lionsgate in just on a percentage basis for consistently releaseing good quality (as opposed to the small number of titles released) they would be right up there with Disney and Sony. Disney. Sony are a close second. Post 2007 hiatus Fox has been excellent, so have the returning Paramount. I haven't seen any of Universal's effort yet. Lionsgate have done some great stuff. Warner continue to be dead last by an absolute mile though, completely pathetic this entire time.

Fox would definitely rank #1 on most expensive Blu-ray discs. More of their titles are in the $29.99 and up range than any other major studio. Kind of ridiculous, especially for some of the old catalog titles commanding those prices.
I'll give Fox some points for using DTS-HD on just about every release and doing a great job with titles like I Robot. But the studio needs to get a little more price competitive, especially with competitors like Warner Bros. due to slash catalog BD prices significantly. |

Universal Studios who consistently uses BD-Live and BonusView extras in nearly every release, lossless sound even and exceptional video. Paramount is right there too, especially on new releases with tons of great content.
