Amazon.co.uk never dispatches international orders for me on Saturdays or Sundays. If I place an order on Friday evening or Saturday, it usually dispatches on Monday and I get it 2 days later with UPS Express Saver which means delivery is faster than dispatch ![]() |

So looking at a photo on eBay, the UK edition of the Anthology has the sh*tty versions of the releases missing extras & decent audio. Anyone know of another country in Europe releasing this properly? It will cost £50 to import the decent US version

The US one is $79 (on amazon) - is that the one ? That's a lot more expensive than £27 on a.c.uk ? G |

1 is Region A locked 2, 3 and 4 are region-free The bonus DVD will be Region 1 (and slightly inferior to the EU and AUS discs due to the slightly lower resolution of NSTC). |

Given how shit most studio-mastered DVDs are these days I don't think the PAL/NTSC resolution thing makes a whole lot of difference.
What's the running time of the bonus DVD? [edit] The BBFC has a listing for two 75-minute parts of The Madness of Max, so that's two and a half hours. Nice. |

I bought the US Limited Edition Trilogy last Black Friday for only $24.99 from Amazon.com. Maybe it will get a decent deal next month in Black Friday as well.

I didn't realise the anthology set had a bonus disc with it, annoying! I've got the 2D Blu on the way to me now, but would have liked the extra disc. Might just wait and pick up the set once it's in a sale, then sell the 4 films I already own. Sounds like a fairly meaty documentary on that disc.

Same here. And not simply because "it's A BONUS DISC!!!!" but because these movies have been criminally underrepresented in terms of extras over the years, getting a chunky documentary about them is something I've wanted for a long, long time. I'd have to keep my MGM Mad Max Blu-ray but the rest can be sold on because they're exactly the same in this set.

I got a 3D in HMV but beware a lot of the covers were scratched. (19.99)

That was my other option, as I either want to use HMV points or Nectar points towards it. Prefer to keep HMV points for their exclusives so will probably go to Sainsbury's.
Weird we didn't get a steelbook here, as a number of other European countries did. |

Anyone else having issues with the 3d version on Zavvi? Preordered last week for £17.99 but it hasn't dispatched yet. Now I've just noticed it's currently not even listed on the site.
