I want to get this in 3D but also want the steelbook... might just have to grab the 3D disc on the bay.

I was lucky enough to get it delivered today so just watched it, it's well worth the money (as are all big 3D special effects movies IMO)

I won't be seeing San Andreas in 3D until my order for the German steelbook arrives. I enjoyed the movie in 2D on Vudu.

Received my copy today in the UK and just watched it. For me it's the pinnacle of the disaster movie genre. The 3D was good and I feel added to the movie.

I'll buy it for the hefty $27.99, as I saw this twice in theaters and enjoyed both shows. The 3D was worth it from my experience. A lot of high medium 3D layering throughout. Looks great in 3D.

Cool. I know you have high standards for 3D, so hearing this from the 13thman is definitely a plus. I agree, 3D was great as was the chaos of the film.

This disc is a real knockout in terms of picture and audio, fantastic 3D, great transfer and real bone crunching sound. The movie could be better and i wish it didn't employ some of the very tired cliches it uses but that aside it's great big budget entertainment throughout and the 3D is really nicely done.

I'm really looking forward to buy it today, i saw this movie in IMAX 3D and was impressed with the 3D on a huge screen.

List price 44.95 with a current price of $34.99 which will hopefully drop to 24.99 or less by release date in a couple months. It has unique 3D cover art and might include a 3D hologram slipcover from the look of it, but don't quote me on that.

On my must buy list for 3D.
Well it's release day and it's only dropped to $27.99. I checked Tradesmart, Walmart, Target, BB and Amazon and they all have it for $27.99 except Walmart who has it for more. I'm more hesitant to blind buy since Age of Ultron which I didn't like. 3D was way too dark and the story line didn't interest me either. Glad I only paid $17.99 for that one.

oh crap so its all depth yet again this is why some people say 3D is dying because people that wanna see 3D wanna have a ride. They don't wanna watch 3D like its almost a 2D movie with nothing to gain. These hollywood studios NEED to realie that they need to go AVATAR on us again DEPTH and POP OUTS. That what the audience want not just depth

I got my 3d blu today in the mail!

I cant wait to watch it in 3d on my new ps4! Hopefully it can decode the Dolby TrueHD 7.1 track out of the ATMOS, unlike my fat ps3.

Bought my copy today at WM for $29.99. Way too much for this disappointing movie. I was not impressed at all with the movie and I thought the 3D was really lame. Very disappointed because I was really looking forward to this release. Well I can't like them all I guess. I just want to support the format so I mostly buy everything that comes out.

Alot of crying in this thread....really really strong buy at 27.99
Atmos 3d audio+3d visual =Win
I'm sure most of you complaining don't have the atmos 5.1.2 or 5.1.4 set up to go the visual to get the full immersive impact, and I understand that for alot of people funds are limits and haven't jumped into the atmos waters yet.

With that said, I wish you guys could all experience the full impact of atmos 3d audio +3d visual, the price tag is well worth the money.

Yes but that's my whole point, people can't take full advantage of what atmos 3d +3d has to offer so it's getting bashed for the high price tag....but it's those advantages that make the price tag as high high as it is once more people cross over to atmos you'll understand.

This!

Stereo D has done a great job with the movie's visual effects! It's evident this conversion was given an almost unimaginable amount of hands-on attention to detail. There is vast amounts of visual detail positioning in voluminous intense scenes. The computer's had to have been plotting in epic proportions thousands of visual access positions
