I do not know if this topic has been discussed before. I did a search and nothing showed up. Anyway this is the most recent list.

The world's most expensive speakers, amplifiers, and turntables according to HigherFi.com. You can actually vote.

Stop complaining about the price of BD players.

I looked for the Nautilus under the weird section, but was pleased to find them in the Beautiful section as the first place winners!

Good Read, although there are no speakers there that I found to be the most beautiful.

I actually got to listen to the Nautilus speakers about 8 years ago or so. At the time they were spectacular. I remember being blown away on the clarity they offered from a CD.

I am more interested in what speakers sound the best not what are most expensive.

I will have to agree with you. I did not find any of the speakers beautiful. Personally, I like MBL speakers of Germany.

I found a few speakers that I would love to own and I have been trying to figure out how.

Let's see--sell my house and with profit buy speakers. Then I would have to set up speakers under my new home which would be under the bridge but then I would not have a electrical out let to plug into...NO that does not work.

Let's see--If I were to??? Never mind that does not seem to work either.

It looks like I am stuck with the system I have, cheap $1,800.00 speakers. How degrading!

Look at the bright side. You can illegally tap into the power company's wires and save yourself a bundle on electricity bills every month. You will be homeless, but fully satisfied.

Just think....I'm not that far away from number 46 of the most expensive speakers !!!! (The AN-E Sogon is built of the very platform of my current speakers - and they can be transformed into AN-E's with the use of a very expensive kit!!!!) Audio Note knew Peter Snell did something right!!! And eventually - I will convert my E-II's into AN-E's (not Sogon's though - the AN-E is enough for me) !

Don't worry I'm not talking about your top of the line setup. Rest easy.

Not worried Mine is far from top of the line though. Your system is more expensive than 400 bucks also (thats the real meaning - I calculated over $400.00 with your Bravia) - take the bag off of your head mate!!! (Your PS3 alone is worth that much!!!)

Well I meant my surround. I hope to one day upgrade.... I'm currently unable to play lossless audio fully because I have no HDMI-in on my surround sound. The PS3 and TV are quite sexy though.

B&W lovers are going to hate me for this. In the list of the most beautiful loudspeakers, the B&W Nautilus was ranked number one. In my opinion, the Nautilus speakers are more scary than beautiful. I believe the Scaena speakers look sexier and much more appealing than B&W Nautilus. The Nautilus speakers are more scary than beautiful.

Tweeter Complement: Twelve Planar Ribbons per Tower
Midrange Complement: Eighteen 4" Midranges per Tower
Woofer Complement: Four 18" (one per enclosure)

Recommended Power: 100Wpc or more
Dimensions: 94"x10"x12" w/o Aluminum Stands; 20"x20"x23" Woofer

I wouldn't mind owning the Jadis Eurythme. I've seen a pair on Audiogon in a setup and thought they were beautiful looking. Maybe I have bad taste though!!!

I also think the MBL speakers look cool too.

No you don't I have liked the Jadis for many years - ever since I saw them reviewed in Stereophile - I love that "open mouth" look! And I also like the MBL's - but I also like the B&W's also (the curves are sweet).
