Default Video glitches in Eraser or is it my player?

Hi guys I bought Eraser the other day and only watched roughly the first half hour of the movie and noticed in two different scenes where in one frame it was like there was static all over the image.

I am running it on a Panasonic BD30. This is the very first video glitch I have ever seen when using the BD30. Just not sure if it's the BD itself or the player that caused it. I went back on both occassions an rewatched the scenes to see if the glitch happen again and in both cases it did.

Amyone else see this?

I really doubt its the player. Blu-ray discs do have scratch-resistent coating but its still possible it can scratch on a sensitive part.

The disc isn't the slightest bit scratched though.

Could be your HDMI cable. Did you buy a cheap HDMI cable?

Another thing also. What do you use to clean your tv? That can be a factor too. Most HDTVs come with a special cloth that prevents static.

Doubt that. An HDMI lead is an HDMI lead. Unless you're getting 'sparkles' amd sound breakup, then your cable is fine. Expensive HDMI's being better is a myth.

cheap or expensive, its just passing 1 and 0's through it. No such thing as a high quality or low quality 1 or 0. Dont believe the expensive cable hype!
