nothing about the disc is spectacular, its a good, average, blu ray transfer. Definitely ahead of the DVD, but I wouldn't rush out to upgrade if you already have the DVD. Wait to find a really good deal on it at Amazon or Best Buy.

I've owned this movie on Blu-ray for over a year and a half so I am not sure what all the fuss is about.

Eraser was the first DVD I ever purchased way back in the late 90's so I should pick it up for sentimental reasons.

I purchased my first DVD player (Toshiba SD-3107) and Eraser on the same day.
That Toshiba DVD player was almost $1,000 back then and it still runs fine to this day but I don't use it anymore.

DVD was brand new back then and I had no idea if it would survive.
This was the beginning of my movie collecting obsession.

Not one of Arnie's best, but enjoyable for a dull afternoon. I just bought this on eBay for $5.50 (free shipping), so why not take advantage of a very low price for a brand new Blu-ray? Another one to add to my Arnold collection. Can't wait for True Lies to come out on Blu.

This is a great movie ... I've actually enjoyed repeated viewings of this movie. Can't wait to watch it again.

I picked up the Sony DVP-S7000 the first week dvd players became available in my area along with several dvds. It, also, still works to this day and not once did I ever have a problem with it. That was definitely a day to remember.
