Does anyone know when the street date for this dvd is?
I personally think FT13pt2 should get the makeover but that's
just me being partial. Anyone have an opinion on if and when this will
make it to blu-ray?

next year is possible. Bill Hunt has stated that the studios told him that they will be opening the flood gates for titles so anything is possible. January and February title announcements are really a little too far off right now. I would see this coming out around Halloween next year.

I read that it is being prepped for Jan/Feb for a tie-in to the remake. Possibly released on dvd as part of a new box set but it is unknown at this time if that would make it to blu-ray as well. Of course Jan/Feb announcements are a bit far off for the moment. It will be interesting to see which F13 movies Paramount and New Line release.

I read on the official website that there will be a box set with parts 1-3 for release when the new movie comes out in February.

Well, that would make since considering what I read on the F13 fan site that the remake is suppose to combine the first 3 movies. Not sure how accurate that is though.
